Investigative commission on Machalikashvili's case - project registered in the Parliament

The United National Movement registered a project demanding the establishment of a commission regarding the case of Temirlan Machalikashvili in the Parliament of Georgia.

Roman Gotsiridze, a member of the United National Movement, stated that the parliamentary commission was the last chance to find out the truth.

“The commission needs 50 votes. There are 48 deputies besides the majority. Hopefully, there will be someone from the majority who backs the initiative to set up a commission,” Gotsiridze said.

Temirlan Machalikashvili was killed during a special operation in Pankisi Gorge in December of 2017.
