"The next convocation Parliament will elect other judges," Irakli Kobakhidze, the former Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, told reporters regarding the selection of other judges of the Supreme Court. The issue is in connection with the new 6-member list of candidates for the Supreme Court.
"We have publicly stated that we would support the Venice Commission recommendation that one convocation parliament would not choose more than half of its members. As you know, this Parliament elected 14 out of 28 judges," Irakli Kobakhidze stated.
