Georgian Justice Minister Rati Bregadze said that he had visited the Gori Military Hospital and familiarized himself with the existing situation there.
In Bregadze's words, he is in touch with the medical personnel who treat ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili. ''Per the latest information, he is stable,'' the Justice Minister stated.
Mikheil Saakashvili was moved from the Gldani prison facility to the Gori Military Hospital on 20 November after Justice Minister Rati Bregadze suggested that the hunger-striking ex-president be transferred there.
Saakashvili was detained on 1 October.
