“Issues of simplification of visa regime between Georgia and Russia, as well as restoration of air travel between two countries require an immediate solution”, Konstantin Kosachev, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federation Council, stated during a meeting with Nino Burjanadze, the Leader of the United Georgia-Democratic Movement.
According to Kosachev, relations between Russia and Georgia are in severe condition.
"We are interested in the progressive development of our interaction with Georgia", Kosachev stated.
He thanked Nino Burjanadze for her political and civil position.
