Lelo for Georgia party holds action to pay homage to COVID-19 victims

Lelo for Georgia party members have lit candles outside the building of the parliament of Georgia; they are holding banners reading 'to Honor COVID Victims.'

The action was set to be held outside the Chancellery of the Government of Georgia, but anti-vaccine activists were staging a rally there.

Lelo member Vato Surguladze said that their key message is as follows: 'they must consider the option of all government members stepping down.' In his words, 'people are dying, which is why they will light candles there daily.'
