Georgian Dream Executive Secretary Mamuka Mdinaradze says that Mikheil Saakashvili will be subject to ridicule whether or not he arrives in Georgia.
''He will arrive in Georgia, he will be jailed; he will not arrive, will be ridiculed. On 3 October, people will laugh at this man. I do not know why he did this to himself. However, as it appears, his team members assured him that if he had refused to make the statement, they would have lost the elections,'' Mamuka Mdinaradze said.
Georgian ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili has booked a Kyiv-Tbilisi flight ticket.
Saakashvili said in his video address that he plans to enter Georgia on 2 October election day.
