At the initiative of the MIA, a meeting was held with representatives of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Georgia. Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri and deputy ministers met with foreign diplomats, according to the MIA.
Representatives of different embassies and international organizations were provided with information on the 8 November rally outside the CEC building in Tbilisi. Additionally, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps were informed about planned and already implemented measures for maintenance of the social order during rallies.
At the end of the meeting, the MIA showed readiness to give international partners timely information on the instances of law violations by protesters and preventive measures taken against them.
