Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said at the briefing in the Administration of the Government of Georgia that Mikheil Saakashvili has been detained.
''I want to inform the public that wanted third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has been detained. He has been transferred to the penitentiary institution. Our law enforcement officers have carried out measures to detain wanted Mikheil Saakashvili perfectly well,'' the PM declared.
