PMs of the Associated Trio meet in Brussels

The Georgian delegation headed by Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili is in Brussels.

Before the talks with senior EU officials, the Prime Minister held his first meeting with his Ukrainian and Moldovan counterparts.

As revealed by report.ge from the government administration, Irakli Gharibashvili, Denys Shmyhal, and Natalia GavriliČ›a discussed the priority directions and expectations for the Eastern Partnership summit scheduled for December 15.

"The Prime Ministers of the Associated Trio stated that they wish to access the EU Common Economic Space and to intensify sectoral cooperation to ensure the physical integration of the Associated Countries into the EU.

The Prime Ministers of Georgia, Ukraine, and Moldova will hold high-level meetings in Brussels today. Negotiations will take place with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli," the statement said.
