President issues an appeal

The President of Georgia congratulates the citizens on Constitution Day. Salome Zurabishvili writes about it on the social network.

"On this day, August 24, 1995, the Parliament of Georgia adopted the main law of the country - the Constitution of Georgia. It was based on the historical-legal heritage of the Constitution of Georgia of 1921 and the traditions of centuries of statehood of the Georgian nation.

The Constitution, as a document of national consent, unity, and development, is not only the supreme law of the country, or simply a set of norms, but it is a unifying document of the citizens of our country," writes Salome Zurabishvili.
