The President of Lithuania starts an official visit to Georgia. Gitanas Nausėda will visit the administrative border checkpoint today, after which he will hold a briefing for the media near the village of Patara Khurvaleti and make a statement.
On Friday, along with the First Lady, he will meet face to face with his Georgian counterpart and hold a meeting with an expanded staff. The presidents will make joint statements to the press. The President of Lithuania will also have an audience with the Prime Minister and the Speaker of Parliament.
A visit to the Patriarchate with Ilia II is planned. During the visit, the President of Lithuania will lay a wreath at the memorial of the heroes who died for the unity of Georgia.
