President of the National Bank of Georgia, Koba Gvenetdze, has responded to a Girchi [Geo. pinecone] opposition party leader Badri Japaridze's statement saying that the bank and its president cannot perform their duties, which is why the president must resign.
''I have no plans to step down,'' Gvenetadze said.
