Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has not exercised a veto against amendments by the Georgian Dream party to the Code of Administrative Offences.
In the President's words, the bill does not clash with the constitution of Georgia, and there is no adequate legal basis to veto it.
The president has repeatedly discussed this issue with representatives of both ruling and opposition parties.
