Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Georgia in Spring

At Georgian PM Giorgi Gakharia's invitation, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will reportedly visit Tbilisi in Spring. The statement on his pending visit was released by Erdogan at the briefing after the meeting with the Head of Georgian Government. He thanked Mr. Gakharia for inviting him and once again congratulated him on his appointment as PM. 

The President of Turkey pointed out that they discussed security issues, bilateral cooperation, and joint military training activities. He also stressed that Georgia is a bridge bonding them with their brothers, whereas Turkey for Georgia constitutes a strategic bridge to the West.
