Former UNM Zugdidi mayoral candidate Anzor Melia thinks that ex-president Saakashvili must accept the proposal on being transferred to the Gori Military Hospital as it is multi-profile, staffed with highly-qualified doctors, and furnished with modern equipment. ''By agreeing on being taken there, he will save Elene Khoshtaria, Paata Burchuladze, and tens of other hunger-striking people,'' Melia declared.
Justice Minister Rati Bregadze has offered Mikheil Saakashvili to be moved from the prison facility to the Gori Military Hospital.
The ex-president's position is yet unknown.
