The President of Georgia has pardoned Giorgi Rurua.

I want to congratulate Kakha Kuchava on being elected on the post of the Speaker of the Parliament! Congratulations to all the MPs who used the mandate given by the people for the first time today and entered the Parliament! I wish you all success!" Salome Zurabishvili says.
Salome Zurabishvili decided to pardon Giorgi Rurua on April 19. At the Orbeliani Palace, the president said she would pardon Rurua on her own terms.
