Shalva Papuashvili, MP nominated by the Georgian Dream, was elected as the Speaker of the Parliament with 88 votes with one member of Parliament against him.
Shalva Papuashvili is the third Speaker of the Parliament of the tenth convocation.
Before the voting, Shalva Papuashvili addressed the Parliament from the tribune and answered the deputies' questions.
