Tbilisi mayor: Ask Megis Kardava to show you what torture is, and he will do so

''If you consider taking drugs prescribed by one's own physician torture, ask Megis Kardava to show you what torture is, and he will do so,'' Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said in response to oppositionist Zviad Kuprava's question.

Kaladze also stressed that ex-pres. Mikheil Saakashvili must be held accountable for different crimes he committed under his rule. ''If we want to build a fair country, everyone regardless of their posts must serve their terms to be cleared of charges,'' Kaladze declared.

A meeting at which candidates for Cabinet members are being selected is underway in Tbilisi City Assembly.
