Civic activists have staged a rally demanding Mikheil Saakashvili's release from custody. They have erected the #FreeMisha motto near Metekhi temple, outside the parliament building, the governmental administration, and Freedom Square.
Mikheil Saakashvili was detained on 1 October.
He declared a hunger strike 27 days ago.
