Tornike Rizhvadze: Unfortunately, Saakashvili has refused to enter Georgia from Sarpi

''Unfortunately, Saakashvili has refused to enter Georgia from Sarpi. We would have hosted him better there,'' Chairman of the Government of Ajara Tornike Rizhvadze said.

''As promised, he will be put behind bars,'' he said and added that the vaccination process is underway in penitentiary institutions countrywide, and Saakashvili will be enabled to receive his second dose in jail.

Georgian ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili has booked a Kyiv-Tbilisi flight ticket.

Saakashvili said in his video address that he plans to enter Georgia on 2 October election day.
