"Turning this tragedy into a political tool is downright immoral"

Leader of the parliamentary majority Mamuka Mdinaradze has offered his condolences to the deceased minor's family and stressed that no one involved in this crime will enjoy impunity.

"The State Inspector's Service, which is a newly founded body looking into crimes at law enforcing agencies, is working on this issue. We have also drafted and enforced the Juvenile Justice Code and adopted the Child's Rights Code; they require constant refinement, and the entire public will work on this. Turning this tragedy into a political tool is downright immoral and outside the bounds of acceptable behaviour," Mdinaradze announced.
