Twenty cities in Georgia where runoff elections scheduled

According to the CEC preliminary results, as of 11 am, mayoral candidates in 20 cities countrywide have failed to meet the required threshold of 50% to be announced winners.

Correspondingly, the runoff elections must be held in the said 20 cities, which are as follows:

Tbilisi

Ballots at 46.81% of polling stations have been counted.

Rustavi

Ballots at 61.36% of polling stations have been counted. 

Batumi

Ballots at 37.14% of polling stations have been counted.

Giorgi Kirtadze, UNM — 42.6%;

Archil Chikovani, Georgian Dream  — 41.07%;

Poti

Ballots at 57.58% of polling stations have been counted. 

Kutaisi

Ballots at 43.55% of polling stations have been counted.

Telavi

Ballots at 73.36% of polling stations have been counted.

Tianeti

100% of votes counted. 

Kareli

Ballots at 87.5% of polling stations have been counted.

Khashuri

Ballots at 86.79% of polling stations have been counted.

Tsageri

100% of votes counted.  

Baghdad

Ballots at 96.77% of polling stations have been counted.

Tskaltubo

Ballots at 39.13% of polling stations have been counted.

Ozurgeti

Ballots at 44.44% of polling stations have been counted.

Senaki

Ballots at 36.36% of polling stations have been counted.

Koba Nakhopia, UNM — 40.23%
