The US Embassy in Georgia has issued a statement regarding the meeting between Mike Pompeo and Giorgi Gakharia.
"Secretary Pompeo met with Prime Minister Gakharia and Foreign Minister Zalkaliani to discuss the United States' support for Georgia's Euro-Atlantic aspirations and strengthening democratic institutions in the country. The Secretary also emphasized the importance of electoral and judicial reform," reads the statement.
