Member of parliamentary majority Akaki Zoidze considers that a referendum or plebiscite must be held with regard to implementation of the proportional electoral system. As per Zoidze, he has already submitted the request to the Georgian Dream political council on carrying out measures for holding the referendum. Mr Zoidze stressed that in the in the event of his request being rejected, he will disengage from politics.
