Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has responded to U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's forthcoming visit to Georgia by writing a post on social media.
"We welcome the visit of the U.S. Secretary of State to Georgia. The support from our strategic partner, the United States, for our democratic development and for peace and stability in the region is important," Salome Zurabishvili tweeted.
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will pay a two-day visit to Georgia on 17 November.
