Italy to open massive homes for divorced men

The Italian Government plans to open shelters for divorced men having been faced with financial difficulties after divorce. As statistical data have it, after divorce, the ownership of houses is transferred to wives in 60% of instances. Additionally, a woman's ex-husband is obliged to make a rather high alimony payment. In order to ease their financial situation, the government decided to provide these men with shelters, in which they will be entitled to stay for a year.
