WHO director to support Georgia to timely receive COVID vaccine

The World Health Organization is ready to support Georgia for vaccine-reception issues to ensure it to be provided with the first shots as soon as possible.

WHO Director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said this when holding a phone conversation with Georgian PM Giorgi Gakharia.

As Georgia’s government reports, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus praised the Georgian government’s measures for the virus prevention and management of the number of infected.

Georgian PM Gakharia noted that Georgia would continue close collaboration with the World Health Organization for the implementation of COVID-19 management and healthcare reforms.
