The cost of service at the Public Safety Management Center, 112, has increased from 20 to 50 tetri. The Parliament supported the legislative amendment on a third hearing.
According to the changes, the service charge for 112 will be the same for individuals and legal entities. Only those with socially vulnerable status will be excluded from paying the fee.
Citizens have been automatically paying the Public Safety Management Center, 112 fees from January 1, 2012, if they spend more than GEL 5 per month on mobile balance.
