Five women were killed on the ground of domestic violence this year in Georgia. Seven women died last year and 14 in 2017.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the last six months 5399 restraining orders were issued for violence and threats against women.
The latest case of domestic violence has been reported today when a husband strangled and killed a 25-year-old woman, mother of three in Bolnisi.
