According to the 2020-2021 report of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, 901 citizens of Azerbaijan study at Georgian universities.
The document reveals that 402 are students of state universities, while 499 study at private universities. Compared to the 2019-2020 academic year, the number of Azerbaijani citizens studying at Georgian universities has decreased by 443.
Georgian citizens do not receive higher education in Azerbaijan during the current academic year.
14,617 foreigners study in Georgian higher education institutions, which is 9.7% more than in the previous year.
