Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 49 new cases of the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, after 134 locals had been tested.
A total of 147 patients are now under treatment at Gudauta hospital, with 18 being in critical condition.
The region has so far registered 2,479 cases, 1,100 recoveries and 23 deaths.
