Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 18 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 173 people were tested.
A total of 61 patients recovered in the past 24 hours to bring the total tally to 14,589.
The occupied region has not seen a rise in deaths, with the death toll standing at 230.
