Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 122 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 498 people were tested.
A total of 262 patients are now under treatment at the six COVID centers in the region, 27 patients with severe COVID-19.
The occupied region has so far registered 10,608 cases, 8,324 recoveries, and 152 deaths (two recent).
