Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 18 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 298 people were tested.
A total of 198 patients are now under treatment at the six COVID centers in the region, with 28 in critical condition.
The occupied region has so far registered 11,818 cases, 10,756 recoveries, and 184 deaths (three recent).
