Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 87 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 308 people were tested.
A total of 143 patients are now under treatment at Gudauta hospital, 26 patients with severe COVID-19.
The region has so far registered 5,970 cases, 3,845 recoveries, and 84 deaths.
