Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 68 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 298 people were tested.
A total of 105 patients are now under treatment at Gudauta hospital, 31 patients with severe COVID-19.
The region has so far registered 4,649 cases, 2,500 recoveries and 50 deaths (three recent).
