Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 76 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 356 people were tested.
A total of 100 patients are now under treatment at Gudauta hospital, 25 of them with severe COVID-19.
The region has so far registered 4,581 cases, 2,490 recoveries (50 recent) and 47 deaths.
