Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 58 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 471 people were tested.
A total of 263 patients are now under treatment at the six COVID centers in the region, 31 patients with severe COVID-19.
The occupied region has so far registered 11,216 cases, 8,992 recoveries, and 160 deaths.
