Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 19 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 217 people were tested.
A total of 51 patients are now under treatment at the four COVID centers in the region, with 9 patients in critical condition.
The occupied region has so far registered 13,617 cases, 12,610 recoveries, and 206 deaths (one recent).
