Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 176 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 544 people were tested.
A total of 264 patients are now under treatment at the six COVID centers in the region, 26 patients with severe COVID-19.
The occupied region has so far registered 10,784 cases, 8,513 recoveries, and 152 deaths.
