Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 112 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 493 people were tested.
A total of 155 patients are now under treatment at the three COVID centers in the region, 27 patients with severe COVID-19.
The occupied region has so far registered 6,204 cases, 4,138 recoveries, and 84 deaths.
