Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 26 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 193 people were tested.
A total of 94 patients are now under treatment at the Gudauta hospital, with 24 in critical condition.
The occupied region has so far registered 15,274 cases, 14,528 recoveries, and 230 deaths.
