Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 29 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 193 people were tested.
A total of 20 patients are now under treatment at the Gudauta hospital, with nine patients in critical condition, and 11 suffering from less severe COVID-19.
The occupied region has so far registered 13,487 cases, 12,905 recoveries, and 214 deaths.
