Trailers and semi-trailers have been banned at km40-km158 (Aghaiani-Khunevi) section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road (the border of the Russian Federation), according to the Roads Department of Georgia. Other types of transport are permitted in the area.
Trailers and semi-trailers on the highway have been forbidden because of heavy snowfall and glazed ice.
