All vehicles banned from some road sections in Georgia

All modes of transport have been banned from the Khaishi-Lakhamula section of the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili highway, according to the Roads Department of Georgia.

"Risks of avalanches, stone and boulder falls have resulted in banning all forms of transport at km 70-100 section (Khaishi-Lakhamula) of the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili highway, which is of international significance," the Roads Department says.

Additionally, snow and low temperatures have resulted in banning vehicles from the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway.
