The Head of NCDC, Amiran Gamkrelidze, comments on Adjara's possible lockdown.
"No lockdown is planned, neither in Batumi, nor Adjara. The number of infected is not as big as to require the drastic measures," – said Amiran Gamkrelidze.
According to him, around 8000 tests have been made in Batumi, while epidemiological research is underway. He also said that the situation in the country is under control. There is no need for alarm but requires attention.
