Amiran Gamkrelidze: The epidemic situation has worsened

According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, the head of the National Center for Disease Control, 788 new coronavirus cases have been registered in Georgia in the last 24 hours.

"The epidemic situation in the country is worse than it was in March-April. But this situation is well managed. The number of new cases this morning is 788, revealed as a result of 10 000 tests," Amiran Gamkrelidze stated at the Republican Hospital, where he got vaccinated with a Chinese "Sinopharm."
