Amiran Gamkrelidze: There is a stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the country

According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Director-General of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, the epidemiological situation in the country is stabilizing.

"Since December 21, there has been a serious drop in the incidence rate - we estimate a seven or 14-day average number per 100,000 inhabitants, and since January 11, it has already crossed the plateau.

There is a stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the country. We have to be very careful with all the openings, so if something is eased - it is necessary to observe for two weeks how the epidemic situation will follow, and then the second phase will start," Gamkrelidze stated.

The Interagency Coordination Council approved the plan for the gradual removal of restrictions.

When will restrictions be removed? - everything in details.
