Are Georgia-made face masks effective?

Director of the Infectious Diseases Hospital Marina Ezugbaia says that face masks produced in Georgia have been submitted to all required tests, which showed that they are effective at trapping virus-containing respiratory droplets and protecting the wearer from COVID-19.

"Some people in the media are sneering at the mask made in Georgia, the one I'm wearing now. I don't respond to anybody; I am just saying to the general public that this mask can protect you from any respiratory droplets, and the coronavirus," Ezugbaia stressed.
