The car accident statistics for 2019 shows that the motor vehicle fatality rate in Georgia has increased by 22 percent if compared to that of 2018. The number of car accident injuries has decreased: in 2018, 9,047 people were injured in car crashes, with this number having dropped to 7,921 in 2019.
Reportedly, road accidents have also decreased, with 5,835 accidents having occurred in 2019, while 2018 witnessed 6,452 car crashes.
